Lucas Monnier opened from the hijack, and Mario Niciforo in the big blind was the only one to call his 900 bet.
The flop 9♦7♦10♥ appeared on the table, and Monnier bet another 600. However, Niciforo raised to 3,100. The French player called to see the 5♠ on the turn.
Niciforo continued betting, this time 5,400. Once again, Monnier called. On the river Q♦, when Niciforo added 13,000 more to the pot, but Monnier took a minute to observe his opponent. Even though he looked unhappy about his decision, he folded.
"Show one?" he asked a second later. Niciforo didn't answer but moved his arms as if to say: "What? Why?". The dealer collected his cards, and everybody at the table laughed at his reaction.
