Kevin Parmely raised to 210,000 and the table folded around to Pamela Belote, who called all in from the big blind for less.
Pamela Belote: A♦Q♦
Kevin Parmely: K♥8♠
Parmely took the lead on the 6♣8♥9♥ flop with a pair of eights and improved to a flush on the 5♥ turn and 3♥ river to send Belote to the rail in 23rd place.
Ronald Lane bet 200,000 from under the gun and was met with a raise from Kevin Wickersheim on the button for 550,000. Robert Damelian in the small blind moved all in for 1,800,000. Lane got out of the way and Wickersheim made the under-call for 1,400,000.
Kevin Wickersheim: A♥Q♣
Robert Damelian: A♠K♠
Wickersheim was dominated by Damelian's big slick. Wickersheim shouted, "Deal that queen dealer, make him (Damelian) cry!" However, there were no Aussie tears as the board ran out 10♥2♠4♦7♥9♠ to give Damelian a massive chip injection, while Wickersheim headed to the rail.
Four players went to the limped pot flop of 10♦8♠2♥. Kevin Parmley in the small blind bet 155,000 which got a fold from James Martini in the big blind and Richard Wallace in the cutoff. Ronald Lane on the button made the call.
The J♥ landed on the turn and this time Lane made a bet of 155,000 which was called by Parmley. Both players checked the Q♠ river and Lane tabled J♠8♣ for two pair which was good enough to take the pot.
David Icke had made it clear to his tablemates that he was waiting for his wife to arrive before moving all in.
"Is Louisa here yet," he asked as action was on him.
"Is that a tell," a tablemate said before Icke did move all in but got no callers.
His wife then arrived on the rail and they shared a high five and clapped their hands together. "Next time you're all in you're going to get crushed," Icke was told by his table.
"Hey Louisa, I'm all in," Icke told his wife before he again moved in, this time for 1,325,000. Robert Damelian on the button asked for a count before calling.
David Icke: Q♥Q♣
Robert Damelian: 9♦9♣
Icke hit top set on the J♦10♣Q♠ flop, while Damelian had a straight draw. The board ran out 3♠7♣ and Icke survived.
Both Arnon Graham and Farhad Davoudzadeh limped in before Jeanclaude Perrot raised to 400,000 in the big blind. Both opponents called to see the 10♠7♠5♦ flop.
Perrot bet another 500,000 and only Davoudzadeh called. The turn came the 6♦ and Perrot fired out 800,000 this time.
Davoudzadeh called again and the 8♦ fell on the river. Perrot took his time before checking, and Davoudzadeh immediately announced he was all in.
Perrot, with around 1,800,000 remaining, snap-folded.
Matthew Shihadeh open-jammed from under the gun for 980,000 and action folded to Jinhua Li in the big blind who took over a minute to make the under-call for 745,000.
Jinhua Li: K♠K♦
Matthew Shihadeh: A♠Q♣
Shihadeh was puzzled why it took so long for Li to make the call. Li hit a king in the window of the K♥Q♠2♦10♦A♥ board for a set and took the pot leaving Shihadeh with four big blinds.
The very next hand Ronald Swain raised to 225,000 from middle position and Li made the call in the small blind. Shihadeh moved all in for 235,000. The other two committed players threw in the extra 10,000.
Li and Swain checked down to the river on the board of 9♥7♠2♥10♦Q♠. Li tabled Q♦10♠ to take down the pot after Swain revealed they had A♠Q♥. Shihadeh headed to the exit shellshocked for $14,922.
