Jeffrey Yarchever Eliminated in 25th Place ($14,292)
Level 26
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Jeffrey Yarchever moved all in for 275,000 from the hijack before Ronald Swain reraised to 500,000 on the button. Jeanclaude Perrot, in the big blind, then four-bet to 1,000,000 and Swain got out of the way.
Jeffrey Yarchever: 4♥4♣
Jeanclaude Perrot: A♦K♥
"I need this one. Four in the window," Yarchever pleaded. But the dealer didn't comply, instead putting the A♣ in the window followed by the 9♥10♠.
The board ran out 6♣5♥ and Yarchever and his German Shepherd dog were sent to the rail.
"Why did I rub your tummy? You mean I could've just pet the dog," Pamela Belote said after noticing the dog from another table.
"That gentleman must have misplayed the dog's hand. It's a well-trained dog. It doesn't make mistakes," another player added.
