Reitzfield Takes Chips Before The Break

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

From under the gun, a player opened to 2,600. He was called twice: by Steve Reitzfeld in the cutoff and by Michael Thorpe in the hijack.

On 7AQ, the first player to act checked, giving the lead to Reitzfeld who put 3,000 chips in the middle. Thorpe gave up at this point, but not the under the gun player.

But when Reitzfeld fired out another bet of 15,000 on the turn J, the player under the gun seemed to have no choice but to fold and let the pot go to Reitzfeld, just a few minutes before the break.
