Event #68: $1,000 Super Seniors No-Limit Hold'em Kicks Off At 10 a.m.

On Monday, June 26, Lonnie Hallett was crowned champion of the 50 years of age and older players, winning the $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em event with a prize of $765,731.

The day after that title was awarded, it's time for the youngest runners to step aside and make way for players aged 60 years or older in the World Series Of Poker Event #68: $1,000 Super Seniors No-Limit Hold'em.

Last year, Massoud Eskandari brought home the Super Seniors bracelet. The "Come Back Kid" earned $330,609 thanks to his victory. It is doubtful anyone can compete with James Moore, who took the Super Seniors Event in both 2016 and 2017; an amazing achievement that puts him on the list of the few players who have won an event in back-to-back years in WSOP history.

They'll have 20-minute breaks every two levels, with a 75-minute dinner break after Level 6 (about 4:40 p.m.). Late registration will be open until the end of Level 8, (about 8:15 p.m.) with a single reentry allowed per player.
