Day 2 of Event #56: $500 Salute to Warriors kicks off today at 10 a.m. here at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Only 661 of the starting field of 4,303 entrants remain in contention, and they're all looking forward to reaching the money as the bubble is right around the corner with 646 players in the money.

The min-cash is worth $800 out of the $1,764,230 prize pool, while the winner awaits a $217,921 first-place prize and a coveted World Series of Poker gold bracelet.

Charlemagne Benjamin and Brazilian player Ariel Celestino are leading the field with an impressive 1,300,000 chips stack. Three-time WSOP champion Ryan Eriquezzo (1,216,000), who won his third bracelet last night in a $400 deepstack event, and Kyle Miholich (1,121,000) round out the top three. While playing the Salute to Warriors, Eriquezzo took down Event #10, the online $400 NL Hold’em Ultra Deepstack for $145,374.
