The big blind and the under the gun player both checked to Kooner, who stuck out a bet of 500, which got called by both the big blind and the player under the gun to bring out the 10♠ turn card.

Action checked through on the turn and all three watched as the dealer put the 8♥ out on the river.

The big blind checked to the under-the-gun player who tossed out a bet of 2,400. Kooner counted out calling chips and thought briefly before tossing the into the pot, prompting a fold from the big blind.

The under-the-gun player showed A♥10♣ which was second best to the 9♠7♠ (ten-high straight) held by Kooner as he drags a nice pot early in Day 1.
