Poker Pro Ali Imsirovic Admits to Multi-Accounting, Denies Some Cheating Allegations

In a 28-minute YouTube video released on Sunday, accused poker cheater Ali Imsirovic wanted to "set the record straight," and in doing so he admitted to some of the allegations against him, but also denied others.

Within 15 seconds after the video began, the 2021 GPI Player of the Year admitted that starting in 2020, he ended up "making a really bad mistake and began multi-accounting MTT's at that time."

Imsirovic, along with Jake Schindler, was accused in 2022 by many of his high-stakes peers of multi-accounting online and colluding during live events. Months later, they were barred from PokerGO Tour events.

Livingston on Receiving End of Hellmuth Rant

Razz

Phil Hellmuth: XxXx/4xJxAxQx/Xx
Alex Livingston: XxXx/3xAx8x9x/Xx

Alex Livingston bet on both fifth and sixth streets, with Phil Hellmuth calling him down to seventh. Both players checked on seventh.

"Let's see that hand, buddy," Hellmuth said as Livingston showed 8x5x for 9-8-5-3-A.

Hellmuth had 7x3x, but paired his three on seventh. "You're dead. No f**king way. All the threes are dead," Hellmuth said as he mucked.

"You wouldn't bet my board? Okay, I'm learning a lesson," Livingston replied.

"You're going to be drawing dead in 30 minutes," Hellmuth told him.

"It will be really concerning if I'm drawing dead soon," Livingston added as Hellmuth continued to mutter to himself.

Taylor Battling With Her Short Stack

Level 21 : Limits 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Esther Taylor
Esther Taylor

Seven Card Stud

David "Bakes" Baker: XxXx/6AJ
Esther Taylor: XxXx/A23 - folded fifth street

As limits continue to rise, the various short stacks around the room grow more in peril.

Among them is Esther Taylor, who in a recent round of stud raised a couple of pots in an attempt to grab some antes. She was partially successful, although had to abandon one of these missions after resistance from David "Bakes" Baker.

Baker defended his bring-in to a completion from Taylor, and then led out when he picked up an ace of his own on fourth street. Taylor called that street, but couldn't call another bet on fifth from Baker, preserving her roughly 4 1/2 big bets remaining.

Fuchs Finds a Winner After Almost Folding

Level 21 : Limits 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Carol Fuchs
Carol Fuchs

Razz

Carol Fuchs: 7x6xAx/3xKxKx4x
Scott Seiver: 2xXxXx/3xJx8x5x
Connor Drinan: XxXx/7x3xKx4x -folded sixth street

After third street bets and raises led to Carol Fuchs, Scott Seiver, and Connor Drinan each getting four bets into the middle, a sizeable pot was already brewing.

On fourth street, Drinan caught best and bet but got calls from each of his opponents. Things then got wacky on fifth street.

Fuchs and Drinan each picked up kings, with Fuchs now showing a pair of them. She was in the process of scooping her cards up to muck then, however Seiver to her direct left who she expected to bet, checked.

Fuchs then insta-checked, and after some thought, Drinan checked as well, giving Fuchs an unexpected free card.

All three players drew well, picking up low cards and now Seiver bet. Fuchs now had enough to call with which sent Drinan into the tank.

He elected to fold his hand after a minute or so of thought, leaving the pot heads up.

Seiver checked dark, commenting along the lines that he knew what was coming, and it was.

Fortunately for him, Fuchs checked back, but she announced that she had made a seven, showing a seven-six that got there after picking up perfect cards on sixth and seventh to take an unexpected and sizeable pot.

Taylor Catches a Miracle River to Double

Level 21 : Limits 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Roman Verenko raised before Esther Taylor reraised on the button. Verenko called to see the 103K flop.

Verenko checked, Taylor bet, Verenko raised, and Taylor called off her remaining chips.

Esther Taylor: AA
Roman Verenko: K10

Taylor discovered the bad news when she found out Verenko had cracked her aces with a flopped two pair.

The 2 fell on the turn and Taylor was one card away from elimination, but the 3 on the river improved her to a better two pair and she doubled up.

Drinan in the Danger Zone After Paying Off Ruben

Level 21 : Limits 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud

Connor Drinan: XxXx/4QKQ/Xx
Brad Ruben: XxXx/2573/Xx
Carol Fuchs: XxXx/J49 - folded

Three-handed to fifth street, Connor Drinan bet and only Brad Ruben called as Carol Fuchs mucked her board.

Ruben opened the betting on sixth and Drinan check-called to seventh, where Ruben bet again. Drinan spent a few minutes in the tank before he slid in a call, representing most of his remaining chips.

Ruben turned over 522 for a full house, deuces over fives, and Drinan mucked to fall down to an extreme short stack.
