Brian Rast won his third $50,000 Poker Players Championship last night and has jumped right back into action here today in this event.
In his last hand, Rast three-bet on the button after Joel Tushnet raised in the cutoff. Tushnet called and they went heads-up to the K♥10♣8♠ flop.
Tushnet checked, then called when Rast bet. Both players checked the J♠ turn.
The river came the 4♦ and Tushnet led out with a bet. Rast called and Tushnet opened up K♦J♥ for two pair to win the pot off the future Poker Hall of Famer.
James Obst, who was also at the PPC final table alongside Rast, has also taken his seat in this event.
