Wells Wins With A Nine

Level 20

2-7 Triple Draw

Cary Katz raised in the hijack which saw Nick Pupillo call in the cutoff and Robert Wells raised from the button which saw Gennady Shimelfarb call from the big blind and Katz and Pupillo called behind him.

On the first draw, everyone drew two except for Wells who drew one. All players checked.

The second draw saw all players draw one except for Pupillo who drew two and action checked around to Wells who bet, seeing Shimelfarb and Pupillo call.

Wells stood pat while the other players both drew one and action checked around for Wells to show a 98763 for a nine, which was good for the pot.
