Eight on the River for Salas

A player opened to 13,000 and its as called by the hijack before Damian Salas decided to three-bet from the big blind to 33,000. Only the hijack stayed interested and called.

The flop revealed 6♥7♠3♠ and Salas continued for 25,000. After some thinking, his opponent shoved for a remaining stack around 57,000 and Salas snap-called with a better stack for the following showdown:

Hijack: 10♦10♥

Salas had the dominated hand and a A♠ didn't change anything on the turn. However, a 8♠ showed up on the river, giving a set to Salas and busting his opponent from the event.

Noam Muallem raised to 12,000 in late position, and then William Pettersen moved all in for his remaining 100,000 out of the big blind.

Mauallem asked for a count, and the dealer confirmed the total.

Muallem went in the tank, then counted out 100,000 from his stack and placed it off to the side. He leaned forward and looked at his opponent, and then took a few moments before grabbing a stack to call and put Pettersen at risk.

Noam Muallem: A♠3♥

The dealer fanned 3♣2♥4♠, giving Muallem the lead. But there was a possibility of a chop between the two players after the first three cards, and it arrived on the turn when 5♠ hit the board.

The 10♦ on the river completed the hand and the dealer split up the pot.

Middle position opened for 12,000 and was met with a shove from Chen An Lin from the button covering all of the remaining players. The small blind cold-called for 190,000 and the middle position player folded.

The small blind was ahead and the K♣8♥5♦ was relatively safe for them. However Lin went runner-runner when the J♠10♠ completed the board to give Lin the straight to claim a bounty and a top stack in the field.

In a heads-up pot, the board J♠A♦3♣9♥ was already dealt when Jeremy Jones bet 23,000 from the small blind. His opponent, in the cutoff, tanked a minute and made the call.

The river brought the Q♦ and Jones sent another bet, this time for 33,000. His opponent chose to let it go and Jones grabbed the pot as the bubble approaches.

The board was already showing 8♥2♣6♦K♥2♥ with a large pot containing more than 110,000 chips when Taylor Black checked. His opponent, seated on the button, announced all in for a stack worth 135,000 and after some thinking, Black decided to call with slightly less.

The button tabled A♥9♠ while Black flipped over 10♥9♥ for the flush and took down the large pot while his opponent was left with crumbs.

Bubble Burst - Three Players Share 334th Place

Dealers were asked to stand up at the end of the hand, but one hand still in play was Jesse Rosen in early position bet 80,000, leaving 3,000 behind. Vladislav Donchev moved all in from the button for 210,000.

Rosen stalled until the clock was called on them and called with three seconds left on the clock.

A classic flip on the bubble. Rosen avoided trouble on the flop, but the king on the turn on the completed board of Q♣9♦7♦K♦8♠ spelt curtains for the South African as Donchev made a pair of kings.

Fortunately for Rosen, they were not the stone bubble. Two other players were eliminated at the same time so they all receive $500 each as they chopped 334th place.
