Cutler Turns the Nuts
Level 6
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Action folded to Chicago native Alan Cutler in late position who opened to 1,500. Next to act went all-in for 4,200. The button then raised to 9,000 and it folded back to Cutler. He didn't take long before announcing "all-in" and pushing his chips out.
The player on the button took a minute but ultimately folded. The cards hit their back.
All-in Player: K♥Q♣
Alan Cutler: A♥K♣
"I'll take an ace," Cutler remarked as the dealer laid out the Q♦10♠7♠ flop. "Now I need a Jack!" and right on time, the dealer put out the J♣ giving Cutler the nuts. The 9♦ landed on the river and Cutler would send his opponent to the rail.
