Mike Thorpe Leads H.O.R.S.E. Field Into Day 2; Garcia, Colpoys, Dzivielevski in the Hunt
Today marks Day 2 of Event #47: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. at the 2023 World Series of Poker. Out of an initial field of 836 players at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, only 260 remain. Those remaining will look to advance to Day 3, where a WSOP gold bracelet and $207,678 await the winner.
"Crazy Mike" Thorpe leads the field, having run his initial stack of 25,000 up to 252,500 after Day 1. Israel Garcia is also near the top of the leaderboard, having bagged 237,000. They look to first finish in the money, as only 126 players will be paid.

Day 2 begins at 1:00 p.m. local time and will consist of ten 60-minute levels, with a 15-minute break every two levels. There is a 60-minute dinner break scheduled for approximately 8:30 p.m. Players still in after ten levels will advance to Day 3 and will compete for the gold bracelet and the title of champion.
