Alexander Vimalanathan bet 12,000 from under the gun on a flop of A♠Q♣J♠, small blind Christian Burger raised to 30,000, and Vimalanathan moved all in.
Burger showed K♦10♥ for a flopped straight and Vimalanathan A♥Q♥ for two pair. Vimalanathan still seemed headed for elimination on a 10♠ turn, but the K♣ river counterfeited Burger's hand and gave Vimalanathan a narrow escape.
On the next hand Burger raised 12,000 from the button, saying, "All those chips belong to me." Vimalanathan called and they saw a flop of 2♣Q♠5♥.
Vimalanathan checked to Burger who bet 18,000, but Vimalanathan folded, keeping some of those chips away from Burger for the time being.

Michael Osborne went all in from early position for 45,000. Orlando Solorzano came over the top for 130,000 more, and everyone else folded.
Michael Osborne: 8♠8♦
Orlando Solorzano: A♣3♠
Solorzano caught a three on a 3♠K♦9♦ flop, but couldn't find another card to put Osborne away on a 7♥9♣ turn and river, and Osborne doubled through him.

With less than fifty players to eliminate to reach the money, Jean-Michel Texier opened to 15,000 in early position and the blinds called.
On the flop 3♥Q♥9♥, Texier continuation-bet to 10,000 and it was enough to take the pot. With a 500,000 stack, he can put pressure on his opponents.

With only 807 players left, it's already bubble time. The floor asked dealers to stop dealing and stand up. Hand-for-hand play is about to start.
802 players will be awarded a minimum of $800 in some minutes.
Only a dozen or so away from the money, LoriAnn Persinger was able to get all her chips in the middle holding aces on a paired board against an inferior pair of tens. When she made aces full on the turn, she locked up the hand.
Just a couple of tables over, a tournament director gave an entire table a warning for slow play, as the table joked about the nature of the bubble.
