Faia Gets a Reluctant Double Up

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

After Martha Escobar limped, Jake Faia went all in from the button for his remaining 11,500.

Escobar struggled with the decision, shaking her head, groaning, adjusting and readjusting the strap on her messenger bag, until she grabbed the 11,500 and threw them almost not looking toward the pot.

Jake Faia: JJ
Martha Escobar: 66

The flop came 835 and then the turn 4 leading a tablemate to declare, "Always a sweat!"

But instead of the miracle six, deuce, or seven Escobar needed for the knockout, the board paired with the 3 and Faia's jacks held for the double up.
