Schwartz Fires Away, Shanahan Building Big Stack

Level 5 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Andrew Shanahan raised to 700 and received two calls before Michael Schwartz, in the big blind, reraised to 3,100. Shanahan called, as did another opponent on the button.

The flop came J64 and Schwartz fired out 6,100 this time. Shanahan gave up his hand, but the button called to see the K turn.

Schwartz now bet 15,000 and the big blind eventually gave up his hand after a brief tank.

Despite dropping that pot, the Australian pro Shanahan has already increased his stack to more than 50,000 so far on Day 1.
