A couple of hands later, Van Fleet raised to 1,000,000 in the cutoff and Zhang called on the button. The flop came A♦J♣3♣ and both players checked to the K♠ on the turn. Van Fleet led out with a bet of 2,200,000 and Zhang called. The 3♦ paired the board on the river and both players checked.

Van Fleet turned over 10♣9♣ for a missed combo draw and Zhang held A♥9♥ to claim the pot.
