Brewer Slows Down; Kabrhel Takes the Chip Lead

Level 22 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Chris Brewer used up several time banks before folding his Q8 from the cutoff. This meant that short stack Dan Smith would have to pay more in the big blind as the level was going up the following hand.

Martin Kabrhel then raised to 1,200,000 from the button with 65. Artur Martirosian called from the big blind with 33.

On the 942 flop, action checked through to the 4 turn, which kept Martiroisian out in front. He then led out for 1,500,000 and Kabrhel called.

The 6 river gave Kabrhel the best hand. Kabrhel called for 1,500,000 and put a dent in Martirosian's stack.
