The hijack opened to 1,000 before the cutoff three-bet to 3,000. Brendan Shiller called from the button and Scott Smile followed suit from the small blind. The hijack also called to see the 10♠7♦7♥ flop. Action checked to Shiller, who bet 6,500. Only Smile called.
The 7♣ checked through to the 4♦ river.
"I'll keep it small because I like you," said Smile as he bet 7,000.
"I'll pay you off," replied Shiller before the players tabled their cards.
Smile had the A♦10♥ while Shiller had the K♥10♣. Both players had a full house, sevens full of tens and they split the pot.
"I got lucky on the turn," commented Shiller as the spoils were being shared.
