MacDonnell Puts Boyko to The Test

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

In a heads-up pot with close to 250,000 in the middle on a flop showing J65, Marc MacDonnell led out for 160,000 from early position and Yuriy Boyko called from the hijack.

On the Q turn MacDonnell kept up the aggression with a bet of 330,000, and again Boyko came along. The 2 hit the river and MacDonnell took a few seconds before announcing all in, covering the 550,000 remaining for Boyko, who went deep in the tank.

After close to three minutes of thought, Boyko pulled out a coin from his pocket.

"I'm going to flip a coin I think," said Boyko as he was contemplating his decision.

After flipping the coin, the clock was called and Boyko had 30 seconds to act. As the clock hit two seconds, Boyko let his cards go and the pot was sent to MacDonnell without showdown.
