Ace High Good For Owen

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Brad Owen opened to 5,000 from middle position and got called by Stephen Horniacek on the button and the big blind with all three players seeing the 10J2 flop.

All three players checked through to the J turn card which got a check from both the big blind and Owen before Horniacek bet out 8,000 from the button.

The big blind got out of the way but Owen called to see the 8 hit the river. Both players checked and Owen turned over the AQ.

Horniacek knuckled the table, signifying that Owen was good, as he showed just the A while Owen pulled the pot toward his stack.
