More For Nakamura

Level 28 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

After Ryutaro Suzuki raised to 150,000 in the cutoff, Tamon Nakamura did some thinking as he cut down and spread out his now healthy stack of two million chips as he debated what move to make next.

He decided on a three-bet to 450,000, which got folds back to Suzuki and a quick fold from him as well.

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Ryutaro Suzuki again raised to 150,000 and Walter Chambers called in the big blind.

Suzuki stood pat while Chambers took two and checked. Suzuki fired out 275,000 and Chambers gave it some thought before calling.

"Two pair," Suzuki said as Chambers showed Jx9x7x6x5x to take the pot.

Nakamura Doubles Again as Suzuki Straightens Out

Level 28 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Ryutaro Suzuki raised to 150,000 on the button before Tamon Nakamura moved all in for 930,000 in the small blind. Suzuki quickly called.

Nakamura stood pat and Suzuki let out a loud groan as he leaned back in his chair and starred up at the ceiling. Suzuki stayed in this position for several minutes before tossing a card away and drawing one.

Nakamura turned over QxJx6x4x2x, while Suzuki had 9x7x6x5x and was looking to improve. He instead caught a 8x to make a straight as Nakamura doubled up again, going from 225,000 to nearly 2,000,000 in the span of two hands.

Limit Hold 'em

Under the gun and seeing this would be the last hand of Limit Hold 'em before the game changed to No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw, Tamon Nakamura excitedly spiked his last 225,000 chips forward, which got calls from all three opponents at the table.

"Quadruple up!" said Nakamura before any further cards were dealt.

All three opponents checked the whole way on the 510JQK board, with everyone then revealing their hands.

Tamon Nakamura: K10
Ryutaro Suzuki: J8
Jason Pedigo: 66
Walter Chambers: Q3

No one had better than Chambers' pair of queens, except for Nakamura who indeed did quadruple up with his two pair, kings and tens.

Suzuki's Raise Leaves Nakamura With Crumbs

Level 28 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Ryutaro Suzuki raised on the button, then called when Tamon Nakamura made it three bets in the small blind.

The flop came 9A9 and Nakamura led out with a bet. Suzuki called to see the 7 turn, where Nakamura bet again.

Suzuki now came back with a raise and Nakamura, with only 145,000 left in his stack, tanked for several minutes before releasing his hand.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Walter Chambers raised on the button to 175,000 and got calls from Ryutaro Suzuki in the small blind and Tamon Nakamura in the big blind.

The flop came 67A and after Suzuki checked, Nakamura moved all in for his last 270,000 chips. Chambers folded, but Suzuki went into the tank.

Suzuki ran the numbers in his head and determined that a call was the correct play, dropping the chips in the middle to try again to eliminate his countryman.

Tamon Nakamura: AJ82
Ryutaro Suzuki: K1096

Nakamura's pair of aces were ahead of Suzuki's pair of sixes, and would remain so after the 44 runout, giving Nakamura a winning two pair of aces and fours.

Nakamura Pots, Pedigo Snaps Him Off

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Tamon Nakamura limped in from the small blind and Jason Pedigo checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came 222 and Nakamura led out for 50,000. Pedigo called as the K fell on the turn.

Nakamura now bet 125,000 and Pedigo again called. The river was the J and Nakamura announced pot to 500,000.

Pedigo snap-called and tabled 88 for a full house. Nakamura flashed the K and mucked as Pedigo took the pot.

Suzuki and Chambers Potentially Play a Big One

Level 27 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

After Walter Chambers opened to 175,000 on the button, Ryutaro Suzuki potted it in the small blind to 575,000 and Chambers called to instantly make a seven-figure pot before a flop was dealt.

That flop came 963, and after a bit of thought, Suzuki announced "pot", which was 1,250,000.

Had the pot gone further this could have ben a huge clash, but Chambers elected to fold and remain one of the two big stacks at the table, along with the man he just lost some of his chips to.
