The 10♣ hit the turn and when Stamm checked, his opponent only took a moment before putting out a bet of 6,300. Stamm sat in the tank for about a minute before springing the trap and announcing a check-raise to 20,000. His opponent looked frustrated but ultimately laid down his hand.

Stamm stands to be one of the early chip leaders in the event, but there is plenty of play left in day 1.
