Pirault Withstands the Aggression

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Francois Pirault
Francois Pirault

The action folded to Francois Pirault on the button who made it 600. Next to act was Artur Martirosyan in the small blind who smooth called. The big blind got out of the way and the players were off to a flop heads up.

The JJ7 flop hit the board and the action checked to Pirault. He pretty quickly put out a bet of 500. Martirosyan thought for a moment and opted to put in the check-raise to 2,500. Pirault made the call.

The 3 turn was a relative blank and Martirosyan put out another bet of 5,000. Once again, Pirault made the call.

The Q river hit the board and Martirosyan thought for about a minute before checking. Pirault sat in the tank for awhile before putting out a bet of 12,000. Martirosyan folded pretty quickly and Pirault survived some early aggression from the field.
