Deutsch Off to a Good Start in First Triple Draw Event

Level 3

Joel Deutsch bet from the hijack and received calls from a player in the button, Chris Tryba in the small blind and the big blind. All four players drew two.

Tryba bet after the first draw and got a fold from the big blind. Deutsch made it two bets, the button folded and Tryba called leaving action heads up.

Tryba drew one and checked while Deutsch stood pat and bet. Tryba made the call and Deutsch revealed his hand early, not realizing there was still one draw left. Tryba, who was seated at the other side of the table from Deutsch, said that the cards were too far away for him to see and action continued with Tryba drawing one and Deutsch standing pat again.

Both players checked after the third draw and Deutsch, who mentioned that this was his first time playing Deuce to Seven Triple Draw, tabled 9x6x4x3x2x to take down a nice pot.
