Robl Kicks Sturm to the Rail
Level 14
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Leon Sturm was one of the late entries on Day 2 after capturing his first WSOP gold bracelet in Event #23: $50,000 High Roller. He was hovering around a starting stack for the first two levels today but after facing a raise from Andrew Robl, Sturm shipped all in for 600,000 in the big blind. Robl quickly called and the cards were face up.
Leon Sturm: A♠10♣
Andrew Robl: A♦Q♥
Robl was in a dominating position and the flop of 6♦3♦2♥ left it that way. The K♣ on the turn and the 2♠ on the river were no help to Sturm who was bounced to the rail.
