Shakerchi Betting on the Come

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Brian Kim just arrived to his seat with a fresh starting stack of 600,000 chips and raised it up to 5,000 in middle position. He was called by Talal Shakerchi on the button and Adrian Mateos in the big blind.

The flop came J103 and Kim continued with a bet of 6,000. Shakerchi raised to 19,000 which got Mateos to fold but Kim still called. The turn was the Q and Kim check-called another bet of 35,000 from Shakerchi. The 6 landed on the river and both players checked. Shakerchi tabled Q9 for a pair of queens and that was enough to win the hand.
