Frank Kafka: 3x4x5x6x7xJxJx

As the last cards hit the table it became clear that Coombs had made a wheel to beat Kafka's seven low, and keep himself alive in the tournament.

"That's perfect timing," Coombs told PokerNews. "That's the first hand I've won all day."

Level 10
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb: 9x3x/Jx5x10x7x/Ax
Opponent: Ax2x/9x4x8xJx/Jx

Shaun Deeb was up against a short stack, calling a bet on fourth street, before thinking for a bit on fifth street, with his opponent putting in one of two bets left.

Deeb opted to call and then did so again on sixth for his opponent's final bet. At that point, Deeb held a draw to a nine-seven, while his opponent had a made nine-eight.

Deeb pulled an ace on seventh street, while his opponent failed to improve to take the hand and score the knockout.

Taherpour's Dark Bet Induces a Fold

Level 11

Michael Harrison: XxXx/5xQx2x10xXx
Michael Budde: XxXx/3x7xQxQx - folded on sixth street
Dara Taherpour: 4x8x8x5xKx/Xx

Taherpour bet on fifth and sixth streets, losing Budde after sixth, but with Harrison holding firm. "I start out good and then I can't get anything but kings and queens," complained Budde before folding.

But a dark bet before seventh was enough to get Harrison to fold once he had checked his third hole card. Taherpour flashed a card to Harrison to prove he had gotten there. "I showed the ace of clubs," he explained.
