Joining action on fouth street, both players checked, and again on fifth street. On sixth street Depaulo checked and Wells bet. Wells bet again on the river and the players turned their cards on their backs. Depaulo was told he had a 98, while Wells had made 97.

"The table is trying to teach me razz," Depaulo said. "But so far I don't think I'm learning much."

Following a completion of the bring-in, recent $10,000 Stud champ Brian Yoon made it two bets to go and just behind him, Jeff Lisandro made it three.

Both players called and the trio went to fourth street where Yoon got the betting lead and placed chips in the middle. He was called in both spots.

The action repeated on fifth street, but on sixth, after another bet from Yoon, Lisandro raised, with only Yoon calling.

The players checked seventh street with Lisandro showing a seven-five. Yoon showed a five, suggesting that he had an eight-five and then mucked his hand

Picking the action up on third street, Allen completed, Gerhart raised and Allen called. Allen bet on fourth when Gerhart spiked a queen to Allen's three, and again on fifth. Gerhart took control on sixth. As Allen pondered his decision on seventh, Gerhart said, "You paired your three. I almost raised you on fifth." With this information, both players checked.

Gerhart turned over a 96. Allen laughed and said, "Actually I paired my queen," and folded. "I guess if you're going to lose a hand, you might as well do it to a four-time bracelet winner, and the 2019 winner of this event."

Allen Kessler completed the bring-in and was met with two calls. The bring-in folded.

Kessler checked fourth street holding five-four up and called a bet from his opponent holding ace-three. The third player in the hand folded to leave the pot heads-up.

Kessler then bet fifth with his opponent catching a brick, yet he still received a call, but on sixth improving again, Kessler bet and finally got a fold.

"I only played it because PokerNews was here, and I had three wheel cards," said Kessler as he dragged the pot.
