Foxen Gives Up on the River

Level 20 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Alex Foxen raised to 450,000 on the button with KQ and Jans Arends called from the big blind with A10. The flop came 985 and both players checked to the J on the turn.

Arends checked again and Foxen took a stab at the pot with a bet of 800,000. Arends called and the 5 paired the board on the river. Arends checked one more time and Foxen gave up by checking it back. Arends showed ace-high and Foxen disgustingly threw his cards away.
