Arends Rivers the Nuts to Double Through Foxen

Level 19 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Jans Arends
Jans Arends

Jans Arends raised to 400,000 in the cutoff and Alex Foxen defended from the big blind. The flop came A107 and Foxen checked to Arends who bet 350,000. Foxen check-raised to 1,150,000 and Arends just called.

The turn brought the 9 and Foxen slid out a bet of 1,400,000. Arends still called and the K peeled off on the river. Foxen went into the tank for over a minute before shoving all in. Arends looked back at his cards before calling off his last 5,470,000 chips.

Foxen turned over 86 for a straight but Arends rivered the best straight with QJ. Foxen was forced to send over a double-up and Arends took over the chip lead.
