Sturm Avoids Disaster

Bill Klein raised to 900,000 on the button with 42 and Leon Sturm just called from the big blind with A2. The dealer fanned the flop of 754 and Sturm jammed all in for his last 1,750,000.

Klein wasted little time before mucking his bottom pair and Sturm escaped disaster to survive another hand.

Klein Cements Himself as the Leader

Leon Sturm limped in from the small blind with 105 and Bill Klein checked his option holding J9. an action flop of 10103 was spread across the table but players opted to check for now.

The J landed on the turn and Sturm led out with a bet of 1,000,000. Klein called and the Q spiked on the river. Sturm fired out another bet of 1,000,000 and Klein raised to 3,500,000 after making a flush.

Sturm mulled it over for a minute and then paid off the raise. Klein tabled the flush and established himself as the clear chip leader in this three-way battle.

Jans Arends limped in from the small blind with 44 and Leon Sturm raised to 1,000,000 in the big blind with A10. Arends called with the pocket pair and the dealer fanned the flop of K92.

Both players checked to the 8 on the turn and the 5 on the river. Arends checked once more with the small pair and Sturm checked it back with ace-high, sending the pot to Arends.

After the hand, the three players went on another 15-minute break.

Jans Arends opened to 600,000 on the button with AQ and Bill Klein three-bet jammed in the big blind with AQ.

"I don't think I can fold this, Bill," Arends said as Klein prematurely flipped over his hand.

"It is what it is. I turned it over by mistake," said Klein.

"Bill, the good news is I have the same hand," Arends said before calling.

The board ran out 768J4 and the two chopped up the pot.

"You're Getting Away with Murder!"

Bill Klein opened to 600,000 on the button with J7 and Leon Sturm called from the big blind with J10.

The flop came Q103 and both players checked through to the 6 on the turn and the 4 on the river.

Sturm finally led out with a bet of 650,000 with the lone pair but Klein had other plans as he raised to 1,700,000. Sturm laid down the best hand and Klein squeezed out another bluff.

"You're getting away with murder!" Maria Ho exclaimed on the PokerGO live stream.

Arends Folds Out Sturm

Leon Sturm raised to 600,000 on the button with K4 and Bill Klein and Jans Arends called in the blinds with J10 and A10.

Action checked through on the flop of 637 and Klein checked again on the 4 turn and Arends stabbed with a bet of 450,000. Sturm called and Klein folded.

Arends bet 750,000 on the J river and Sturm laid it down.

Klein Bluffs His Way to the Lead

Bill Klein limped in from the small blind with 44 and Jans Arends raised to 900,000 in the big blind with 88. Klein called and they went heads-up to a flop of 962.

Klein checked to Arends who continued with a bet of 700,000. Klein check-raised to 2,200,000 with the smaller of the two pocket pairs and Arens still called.

The turn was the 6 and Klein led out with a bet of 1,600,000. Arends still called and the 5 completed the board. Klein ripped all in on the river, putting Arends to the test for his last 4,850,000 chips.

Arends went into the tank, using up all of his time banks, before ultimately deciding to send his cards to the muck. Klein showed the bluff as he raked in the pot and became the new chip leader.

"I misread it," Klein said with a chuckle.
