Two World Champs Down
Level 13
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Espen Jorstad was all in for around 450,000 and up against Bill Klein.
Espen Jorstad: A♠Q♠
Bill Klein: J♠J♦
Jorstad was racing for his tournament life and took the lead on the Q♣7♥4♣ flop, hitting top pair. The J♥ turn, though, was a disaster as Klein made a set. The river came the 2♦ and the reigning Main Event champion tapped the felt and wished his former tablemates luck before heading for the payout desk.
"I was just about to say Bill Klein does so well in all ins. Then you won one," Daniel Negreanu told Klein after the hand.
Koray Aldemir, Jorstad's predecessor as world champion, was also eliminated at the same time on another table.
