Brewer Bounces Back From Near Elimination

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Brandon Wilson bet out 18,000 on a board of Q103 and Chris Brewer called from the button. The turn brought the A. Wilson checked, Brewer bet 40,000, and Wilson called. Wilson checked again on a 2 river. Brewer shoved 75,000 into the middle, holding back only one purple 500 chip. Wilson called instantly, showing AK, and Brewer a failed bluff attempt with J9.

Brewer was moved to another table where he found himself immediately all in. Darren Elias raised 4,000 from under the gun, Brewer called for his last 500, and both blinds called. No one could best Brewer's 89 when he made two pair on a K10K94 runout, and Brewer had increased his stack to 2,000.

Brewer doubled up again, shoving those 2,000 chips into the middle. The button and big blind called. There was no further action on the side on a board of 34842. Brewer showed his Q4, the other two mucked, and Brewer said, "Wow, 15x in two hands!"
