Xu Doubles in Huge Preflop All In

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Action folded to Ankit Ahuja in the cutoff who opened to 250,000 After the button folded, Qiang Xu shoved the small blind for 1,500,000.

Andres Korn didn't waste much time before announcing all in from the big blind and with action back on Ahuja, he went deep into the tank.

Agonizing over the decision, Ahuja wanted floor staff to give him a rough estimate of the shortest stack at the other remaining table but that request was quickly shot down as the floor walked away from the table.

A few minutes later, Korn requested that the floor return so that he could call the clock on Ahuja.

As the countdown began, Ahuja seemed no closer to making his decision as he agonized over what to do. Time expired without Ahuja having made a decision and his hand was declared dead.

The players turned up their cards and headed to a run out.

Qiang Xu: 8x8
Andres Korn: AK

The board ran out Q9787 and Xu secured over a full double.

Ahuja revealed that he had folded QxQx in a really tough ICM spot and lamented the "worst possible result" having played out.
