Gilbert Leaves Pan Short

Action folded to Qinghai Pan in the cutoff who came in for a raise which was called by Aubrey Gilbert in the big blind to set up the heads up flop of 9♣A♠2♣.

Gilbert quickly check-called a bet from Pan and both players headed to a 7♥ turn card.

Both players checked through to the river which brought the 8♣. Gilbert led out for the first time of the hand and Pan thought briefly before tossing in calling chips.

Gilbert tabled K♣8♥4♣3♠ for the king high flush which was good versus the A♦10♦10♥4♦ of Pan. Gilbert took in the pot and left Pan on fumes.

Heads-up on a flop of A♠9♦10♥, Kyle Burnside bet from the small blind and Qinghai Pan raised.

Burnside called to the 2♠ turn and check-called another bet from Pan. The river came the 2♦ and Burnside checked again.

Pan fired out another bet and Burnside's cards quickly hit the muck.

Burnside Gives Up on the River

Kyle Burnside raised, then called a three-bet from Nick Kost.

The flop came J♦10♠3♦ and Kost bet. Burnside then put in a raise and Kost called to the 2♠ turn.

Kost bet again and Burnside called. The river came the Q♠ and Burnside bet. Kost now raised as Burnside got up from his seat and leaned over the table looking back at his cards.

Kost thought Burnside had called and turned over his hand without realizing action was still pending. "I fold," Burnside said as he mucked.

Action folded to James Obst who raised in the cutoff and was called by Kyle Burnside on the button.

The flop came down 10♣J♠10♦ and Obst started with a check. Burnside tossed out a bet and Obst called to see the 7♠ come out on the turn.

Obst again opted to check-call a bet from Burnside before seeing the 6♣ fall on the river. Once more, Obst checked to Burnside who continued with another but that Obst responded to quickly with a fold, conceding the pot to Burnside with no showdown.

Kost Scoops a Big Pot and Continues to Grow Chip Lead

Action folded to Jim Collopy in the small blind who limped to Nick Kost in the big blind. Kost checked his option and the two were off to a flop of 4♠7♦J♦.

Collopy led with a bet but quickly got raised by Kost. Collopy decided on a call and the dealer burned and turned the 7♣.

Collopy bet again and got called by Kost to take the duo to a 4♦ river.

Collopy opted to check-call one more bet from Kost and quickly watched as Kost turned over the A♦J♣8♥6♦ and with no qualifying low possible, Kost scooped the pot as he continued to distance himself from the other remaining five players.

The 5♥6♦Q♥ flop was checked through and Obst led out on the 5♣ turn. Kost and Burnside quickly folded.

Cartwright had A♦7♠4♣8♣, while Obst turned over J♠3♠Q♠6♥ for two pair. The river came the K♣ and Obst won the pot to send Cartwright to the rail in seventh place.

Jim Collopy raised from under the gun. Action folded to Qinghai Pan in the small blind who came in for a three-bet before Kyle Cartwright four-bet the rest of his chips from the big blind.

Both Collopy and Pan made the call to put Cartwright at risk, prompting the dealer to put out the 6♠8♥9♦ flop. Action checked through to the 3♠ turn.

Pan check-called a bet from Collopy before seeing the river bring out the J♠.

Action checked through to showdown and Cartwright showed the A♦Q♣4♠2♣, Pan showed the A♣J♣10♥6♣ and Collopy tabled the A♥K♣10♦2♠.

Pan got the high half while Collopy and Cartwright split the low half and Cartwright survived his all in.
