Ahmadian Celebrates at the Expense of Vuilleumier

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading A♦Q♥J♥4♠ and around 300,000 in the middle, Elia Ahmadian and Alexandre Vuilleumier were heads-up in the pot.

Ahmadian was the first to act in the cutoff and jammed all in for 424,000. Vuilleumier asked for a count and used a time bank before making the call. Ahmadian tabled A♥6♥ but Vuilleumier showed A♠J♦ for two pair.

However, the river was the 3♥ and Ahmadian improved to a flush. Chips from multiple stacks went flying as Ahmadian clapped his hands in celebration after spiking the river.
