Ahmadian Celebrates at the Expense of Vuilleumier

Level 12 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading AQJ4 and around 300,000 in the middle, Elia Ahmadian and Alexandre Vuilleumier were heads-up in the pot.

Ahmadian was the first to act in the cutoff and jammed all in for 424,000. Vuilleumier asked for a count and used a time bank before making the call. Ahmadian tabled A6 but Vuilleumier showed AJ for two pair.

However, the river was the 3 and Ahmadian improved to a flush. Chips from multiple stacks went flying as Ahmadian clapped his hands in celebration after spiking the river.
