David Wells jammed just over 1,000,000 from under the gun and Gabriel Schroeder went in with the big stack from the small blind. Ian Matakis called quickly from the big blind for around 2,400,000 and action was three ways with Wells and Matakis at risk.

Yue Liu raised in the cutoff to 200,000, Grant Wang on the button three-bet to 625,000 and Upeshka De Silva four-bet to 1,350,000. De Silva was not all in as he'd left himself one 25,000 chip behind in consideration for a pay jump. Liu folded and Wang put De Silva in for his remaining chip, to which he called.

Both Curt Kohlberg and Daniel Barriocanal were faced with a flop of 8♠6♥2♠. Barriocanal was under the gun as he bet out for 300,000 into Curt Kohlberg on the button. Kohlberg responded with a raise to 850,000.

After some time Barriocanal decided to three-bet jam putting Kohlberg at risk for his tournament life. Kohlberg snap called.

Nikolaos Angelou opened on the button to 325,000. Ian Matakis, who was short in the big blind, chose to defend leaving himself approximately 350,000 behind.

The flop came A♣10♥6♠ and Matakis checked the action to Angelou who bet out for 160,000, Matakis shoved all in for the remainder of his stack and Angelou put in the extra chips for a call.

Daniel Barriocanal raised on the button to 360,000 and Sarah Herzali in the big blind defended.

The flop came K♠J♠Q♥ which checked through to the 9♠ on the turn. Herzali check-called a bet of 650,000 from Barriocanal and they went to the river.

The 7♠ landed and Herzali checked once more and unfortunately for her, Barriocanal checked behind. Herzali announced she'd rivered a straight flush.

"You win!" Barriocnal laughed as he mucked his cards.

Sure enough, Herzali showed the 10♠8♠ for a rivered straight flush.

Kevin Choi and Nikolaos Angelou wound up in a big preflop conformation getting both stacks in the middle as Choi ran his pocket jacks into the ace-king of Angelou. An ace on the turn left Choi so short that he was forced all in by the big blind the very next hand.

Nikolaos Angelou opened from the button to 200,000 and Daniel Barriocanal in the small blind called putting Choi at risk.

Both players checked the hand through to the river as the full board read Q♥5♠8♣7♠10♠. Angelou tabled A♠8♥ beating both Barriocanal and Choi. Choi was sent to the rail in 8th place.
