Dudley Shows the Bluff
Level 27
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Andrew Dudley raised to 220,000 on the button and James Burgin defended the big blind.
The dealer fanned a flop of 8♣3♣2♠, and both players quickly checked to the A♣ turn.
Burgin led out for 200,000 and Dudley raised 650,000. Burgin gave it a few moments of thought and made the call.
When the 6♦ landed on the river, Burgin checked and Dudley announced a bet of 1,000,000. Burgin's cards instantly shot into the muck and Dudley couldn't wait to slam his K♥5♠ face up on the table.
"I don't usually do that," claimed Dudley. "I usually fold ace-queen suited."
