Kaupp Pulls Way Ahead After Catching Garza Bluffing

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Benjamin Kaupp started the new level with a button and Ryan Messick defended the big blind, which led to the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop. Messick check-called a bet worth 175,000 and then check-folded the {a-Clubs} turn to a larger bet.

One hand later, Raul Garza opened to 250,000 on the button and Kaupp called from his big blind. The {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop brought a check by Kaupp, a bet worth 200,000 by Garza and a call. Kaupp check-called a second barrel for 500,000 on the {2-Hearts} turn.

Kaupp came along and did so again for 1,200,000 on the {10-Clubs} river. Garza revealed the {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a bluff and Kaupp dragged in the healthy pot with the {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks.
