Battenfield's Aces Hold

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

After Chris Battenfield put in a three-bet to 4,500 from the button, he got just one caller, the hijack.

The pair saw the {4-Hearts}{5-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop, at which Battenfield fired for another 4,500, earning another call from his opponent.

The two checked through the {4-Clubs} turn before the {k-Clubs} river hit the table. Battenfield tossed another 12,000 into the pot. After a minute or so of thought, his opponent reluctantly tossed in a chip to call. Battenfield turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, and his opponent pushed his cards towards the muck, giving Battenfield the pot.

Tibbles Bets Turn and River

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

amara Tibbles raised under the gun to 1,300 and was called by Jay Majmudar from a couple of spots to her left as well as Joseph Ebanks in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and the action quickly checked through.

The {j-Spades} hit the turn and Ebanks checked before Tibbles tossed out a bet of 2,000. Majmudar quickly folded and Ebanks called.

When the {7-Hearts} paired the river, Ebanks checked once more to Tibbles as she made a bet of 5,000. Ebanks pushed his cards forward surrendering the pot.

Hui Gets Value on River

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Loni Hui
Loni Hui

Action started on the turn with Loni Hui betting 2,200 into the pot. The board showed {8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}.

Her opponent in the small blind check-raised to about 6,500. Hui made the call.

The river landed the {5-Spades} and Hui's opponent slowed down with a check. She decided to bet 8,000. Her opponent shrugged and made the call.

Hui showed {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}, good enough to take the pot down.

"The ole' pair of ones?" shouted a small rail behind Hui.

Pocket Rockets Hand Double To Frank

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Ashley Frank
Ashley Frank

A player limped from under the gun as did a player in middle position. Ashley Frank raised to 2,400 on the button only to see the big blind three-bet to 8,500. The two limpers got out of the way and Frank, after some thought, moved all in. Her opponent snapped it off with the bigger stack to put Frank at risk.

Ashley Frank: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Big Blind Player: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Frank was on the right end of the ultimate preflop cooler and stayed ahead on the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop. Nothing changed following the {8-Diamonds} turn with Frank securing the pot after the {j-Spades} rolled off the deck on the river to move herself back up above starting stack.

Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

Action was caught on the turn with the board reading {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. Jacob Brundage checked in the big blind and Adam Friedman then bet 2,200 into a pot of 4,000. Brundage called.

The {3-Spades} river checked through and Brundage tabled his {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Friedman threw his hand into the muck and is now in the danger zone.
