Souki and Welch Trade Pots

Level 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Philippe Souki raised to 800,000 in early position and was called by Brian Kim on his left and Robert Welch in the big blind. The flop came {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Souki continued with a bet of 2,500,000 which got folds from both of his opponents.

A couple of hands later, Welch opened 950,000 on the button and Souki defended from the big blind. The flop fell {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Souki check-called a bet of 1,200,000 from Welch.

The turn brought the {q-Hearts} and Souki checked again. Welch splashed in a bet of 2,250,000 and Souki finally dumped his cards into the muck.
