Li Scores Double Knockout

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

On the final hand before break, Pierce Mckellar opened to 200,000 under the gun and Fabian Schaefer Carreno moved all in on the button for 2,515,000. Victor Li then moved all in from the big blind, and Mckellar thought about his decision with a fairly similar stack to Carreno.

"Gamble!" exclaimed Mckellar as he put in the chips.

Fabian Schaefer Carreno: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Pierce Mckellar: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Victor Li: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The dealer spread the {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop to put Li way in front with top set. The {8-Spades} fell on the turn to leave Carreno calling for a nine, but the {k-Spades} completed the board, eliminating both Mckellar and Carreno.
