Hong Continues to Grind on Day 4

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With around 50,000 already in the middle on the {4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop, Ivan Starostin, from the hijack, put in a continuation bet of 25,000.

Jeffrey Hong, from the big blind, then put in a raise of 105,000. Starostin called.

On the {8-Clubs} turn, Hong opted to check. Starostin decided on the check as well.

On the {3-Spades} river, Hong reached into his giant stack of red chips, worth 5,000 each, and put a massive tower in front of him. A count revealed that the bet size was 145,000.

Starostin deliberated for roughly 30 seconds before sliding his cards into the muck.

Hong started the day with 113,000 in chips and is now at 695,000, which is roughly the current average stack.
