Jolly Saves the Best for Last

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Brant Jolly
Brant Jolly

Tommi Lankinen opened to 22,000 in early position and Brant Jolly three-bet to 70,000 on his left. The action folded back to Lankinen who called to see a flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Lankinen checked to Jolly who continued with a bet of 80,000 and Lankinen folded.

Two hands later, Jolly raised to 25,000 and was called by Andrew Brinkley in the big blind. The flop fell {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Brinkley check-folded to a bet of 40,000 from Jolly.

The very next hand, Lankinen raised to 22,000 again and Jolly just called this time. The button also called and Brinkley ripped all in for 161,000 from the small blind. Lankinen folded and Jolly re-shoved all in, forcing the button to fold.

Andrew Brinkley: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Brant Jolly: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

Jolly was in a dominating position and the board of {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} provided little sweat as Jolly sent Brinkley to the payout desk.
