Lisandro Gets a Fold

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn, Jeff Lisandro in the big blind was involved in a hand with Jurgen Pirgu from middle position. With the board reading {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} Lisandro led out for 7,500. Pirgu, after counting out his stack, decided on a call.

The {9-Diamonds} river saw Lisandro bet again, this time sizing up to 17,000. Pirgu thought for some time but ultimately opted to release his hand.
