Antonius Runs into Guardia's Set

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jose De La Guardia raised to 2,500 in the cutoff and Patrik Antonius three-bet to 10,200 in the big blind. Guardia made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Antonius put out a green chip while announcing a bet of 10,000. Guardia called.

The {q-Hearts} landed on the turn and Antonius slowed down by checking before Guardia bet 25,000. Antonius took his time and dropped in the call.

The {j-Diamonds} landed on the river and Antonius checked once again and Guardia bet 45,000. Antonius thought it over for about five seconds before making the call and seeing the bad news as Guardia tabled {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a set on the flop and Antonius mucked his hand.
