Bai Gets a Fortunate Runout to Bust Two

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Soeren Baekgaard Hansen just relayed details of how his Main Event came to an unfortunate end.

According to Hansen, Richard Bai raised to 2,000 from under the gun before another player re-raised to 15,000. Hansen just called the raise, but Bai shoved all in, having both players covered.

The first raiser called with {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Hansen snap-called for 66,000 with {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}. Bai had {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and was looking for some significant help.

The flop came {5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, giving one all-in player top set and Bai the nut flush draw, which he completed on the {4-Diamonds} turn. The river came the {6-Spades} and Bai knocked out both players in a 160,000-chip pot.
