Dolan Profits In Bizarre Hand

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Raymond Dolan from under the gun bet 800 and was called by an early position player and Scotter Clark in the big blind.

Dolan continued on the flop of {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for 1,700. The early position made the call and Clark folded. The {4-Hearts} landed on the turn and Dolan bet 2,900. Early position quickly called.

The {6-Diamonds} came on the river for a third diamond and paired the board. Dolan bet 8,100 and was verbally snap-called by his opponent.

Dolan revealed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} for two pair and early position tabled {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and grabbed Dolan's bet and added it to their stack believing that they made the flush.

Clark told the player that there is no flush there and he needed to put the bet back. The early position player was stunned with their hands clasping their head muttering "No! God no!" before taking a closer look at the runout.

The early position player eventually put two 5,000 chips into the middle to pay Dolan's bet but still looked in disbelief. On the next hand they folded straight away and walked away from the table to let off some steam.
