Ensan Suffers Devastating Early Blow

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Hossein Ensan
Hossein Ensan

Hossein Ensan opened from under the gun to 600 and was called by Eric Lescot in the hijack. The button three-bet to 2,500 and both Ensan and Lescot called.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and it checked to the button who continued for 2,700. Ensan called and Lescott raised to 6,000. The button folded and Ensan called.

The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and Lescot beefed it up to 11,000. Ensan decided to raise and flick in his green chip worth 25,000. Lescot instantly moved all in and Ensan immediately folded.

Despite a nice early start to the day, this losing hand dropped the 2019 WSOP Main Event champion down to around 40,000.
